Two cases concerning the sale and consumption of alcohol will be reviewed during the Buildings, Safety Engineering and Environmental Special Land Use Hearings scheduled for March 4, 2025.

The first case, SLU2025-00140, is set for 9:00 AM. The proposal involves adding an establishment for the sale of beer or alcoholic liquor for on-site consumption to a 1,416 square foot ground floor unit at 655 Willis St, located in City Council District 6. The site is part of an existing four-story building that contains both residential and commercial units. Plans also include an 84 square foot outdoor eating area. The property falls within an SD1-H (Special Development, Small-Scale, Mixed-Use – Historic) Zoning District.

At 9:30 AM, the second case, SLU2025-00159, will be considered. This proposal seeks to establish a Specially Designated Merchant’s (SDM) and Specially Designated Distributor’s (SDD) establishment alongside a standard restaurant and brewpub serving alcohol for on-premises consumption. The business would occupy a 3,300 square foot unit within a larger 4,630 square foot building at 17130 Ryan Ave in City Council District 3. The location is zoned M4 (Intensive Industrial).
