On Tuesday, March 18, former Canton High School standout Omar Suleiman’s current collegiate team the Lake Superior State Lakers won 75-62 against the UMSL Tritons in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in TRAC – The Recreation & Athletic Center, this was the first game against the UMSL Tritons during the championship.

The Lake Superior State Lakers’ next game will take place on Tuesday, March 25 at 1 p.m. in Ford Center against Dallas Baptist Patriots.

Omar Suleiman’s hometown is Canton and game position is forward.
