On Saturday, April 12, former Salem High School standout Owen Anderson’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Roosevelt Lakers.
The game took place at GVSU Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Lakers this season.
The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at GVSU Baseball Field against Roosevelt Lakers.
Four Wayne State men’s tennis athletes have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for their achievements on court and academically during the past season. The honorees include Luis Klaus, Benjamin Hill, George Day, and Tom Wasner.
