On Saturday, April 12, former Salem High School standout Zacarias Salinas’ current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Carolina Pirates.
The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Pirates this season.
The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Hayes Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
Four Wayne State men’s tennis athletes have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for their achievements on court and academically during the past season. The honorees include Luis Klaus, Benjamin Hill, George Day, and Tom Wasner.
