On Sunday, March 9, former Salem High School standout Zacarias Salinas’ current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the James Madison Dukes.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Dukes this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Appalachian State Mountaineers.
