Wayne County, Michigan issued the following announcement
Assistant Wayne County Executive Khalil Rahal joined Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Ford Chairman Bill Ford, as well as congressional and community leaders to announce the Michigan Ave. Connected Corridor. This project will connect Downtown Detroit, Metro Airport, the University of Michigan, and communities between Detroit and Ann Arbor with a dedicated space to safely develop autonomous mobility technology in a real world environment. This unique public-private partnership further cements Wayne County as a global leader in the emerging mobility economy.
