City of Northville issued the following announcement on Aug 27.
City Council approved an amended resolution in accordance with the Open Meetings Act to extend the Local State of Emergency until Dec. 31, 2021.
It gives council the flexibility to hold meetings either in person or on Zoom – if the anticipated attendance is higher than 20-30 people or if the COVID-19 variant makes social distancing necessary.
The first extension was set to expire on Aug. 31, 2021.
