City of Westland recently issued the following announcement.
Today is National Clean Up Day!!!
On the third Saturday of September, organizations around the country celebrate National Clean Up Day, with efforts aimed at reducing litter and cleaning up their local communities, parks, trails, and open spaces. Locally, The Westland Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the community to assist in beautifying Curtis Woods Park located at 36400 Palmer Road at 10am. Volunteers will help with projects in the park and help remove any debris that may hinder quality recreation in the area.
