Wayne-Westland Community School District recently issued the following announcement.
Free Food! Open to the Community! Please share!
Gleaners Community Food Bank will host a drive-up/walk-up distribution at Adams Middle School (33475 Palmer Road, Westland 48186) on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 2 - 3:30 p.m. near the back of the school.
Anyone in need of food is encouraged to attend and receive 30 pounds of nutritious groceries, like milk, fresh fruits, vegetables, lean protein and other shelf-stable items. No appointment is needed.
