Wayne-Westland Community School District recently issued the following announcement.
Stevenson Middle School students are involved in the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Girls Exploring Together - Information Technology (GET-IT) after-school team activity designed to encourage girls (grades 4 - 12) to consider and ultimately pursue a career in information technology.
Students involved in the program explore a growing career field while enhancing their math and science skills, and confidence. GET-IT helps prepare them for college, strengthening teamwork, problem-solving and organization abilities.
