CITY OF LIVONIA LAUNCHES NEW APP TO REPORT POTHOLES AND OTHER CONCERNS

Cellphone apps

City of Livonia issued the following announcement on Feb 28.

The  City of Livonia is proud to announce the launch of the new City app! Available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, the app is the best way to report potholes, missed trash pick-up and countless other service requests. The app allows you to tag the exact location of any service requests, ensuring it gets attention from the City of Livonia or Wayne County.

We know that our roads have been hard-hit by freeze/thaw cycles in recent weeks, creating a great deal of problems for Livonia drivers. Wayne County recently announced expanded staff schedules to 10 hours per day/6 days a week, and we’re starting to see some progress on repairs. We’re grateful for the advocacy of Commissioner Terry Marecki in making sure Livonia residents see improvements in our roads.

The City of Livonia App is the best way to report potholes needing repair. The app allows you to accurately locate potholes and based on their location they are sent to the proper government body for repair: fixes for Wayne County roads go to the County government and fixes for local roads go to Livonia’s Department of Public Works.
