Livonia Public Schools District issued the following announcement on Mar 9.
ICYMI! Greenmead Historical Park has been nominated as one of Best Historical and Cultural Places in Local Government through Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL). Greenmead has a long history dating back into the 1800s and family events all year round. Also known as the Knope Award, winning the national award outright comes with a challenge. Out of more than 60 entries, we made the 32-location field that has transformed into a playoff bracket! Here’s some early March Madness for you.
#VoteGreenmead by Friday at https://elgl.org/greenmead-historical-park and help us help us move on to the next round. We’re the only Michigan location to advance into the bracket and we’re up against a New Jersey memorial in the first round. Vote for all 16 match-ups, but make sure we advance in match-up #14!
