MACAC Maggie Miller Scholarship -- due 4-8-22

The following information has been provided by the scholarship grantor

MACAC Maggie Miller Scholarship 

$500+ Scholarship (non-renewable) 

Eligibility/Criteria: 

Senior attending a MACAC member high school, and planning to attend a MACAC post-secondary institution 

• GPA of 3.2 minimum 

• Official transcript will be included if you are nominated 

• Financial need may be a factor 

• Citizenship, involvement in community service 

• Motivation to achieve personal goals 

• One page essay or video 

Video: Option 1: New this year-you may record a video of no more than three minutes in length answering one of the essay prompts below.

Essay: Option 2: Provide a written response of no more than 750 words using essay prompt. 

Prompt: Read the one-page document The Life Story of Maggie Miller and select and respond to one of the prompts: 

1. How does Maggie Miller's story inspire you? What have you done in your school or community in the spirit of Maggie Miller?

2. Maggie's motto was "Never Give Up!" Tell us about a time that you never gave up. 

Each High School may submit up to two applications CANNOT BE SUBMITTED BY THE STUDENT! 

You must submit your intent to your home school Counseling office by Friday, 4/8/22 to be considered for this scholarship
