$1.00 Vouchers Off of a One Way Ride Ticket on a Nankin Transit Bus

Wayne County issued the following announcement on April 7.

**Beginning on Monday, April 11th**

The City of Wayne will have $1.00 vouchers off of a one way ride ticket on a Nankin Transit bus. A one way ticket fare is $3.00. Or you can use 3 tickets for a one way trip.

Nankin Transit is a transportation option for seniors and the disabled that reside in the cities of  Canton, Wayne, Westland, Inkster and Garden City.

When you use Nankin Transit, you can go anywhere within the Five cities of Wayne, Westland,  Inkster, Garden City and Canton and one mile outside of the five cities for medical and work appointments.  we also service the destination point of St. Mary’s Hospital – South Entrance in Livonia .

To schedule a ride, a resident can call (734) 729-2710. It is requested that medical appointments be scheduled two days in advance and one day for all other travel needs.

The limit per person per month is 10 tickets. They will be available until the City runs out.

Tickets can be picked up at Wayne City Hall at the City Clerks office located at 3355 South Wayne Road during normal business hours.

Monday-Thursday: 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Friday: 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
