Meet today's Women in Blue Officer of the Year nominee, Det. Laura Manzella with the Detroit Police Department.
Det. Manzella is a 23-year veteran of the Detroit Police Department and has been a member of the Homicide Unit since 2015. She serves on the Homicide Task Force, working in partnership with Michigan State Police. MORE: https://bit.ly/3w2FJzX
Det. Manzella is a well respected and loved member of the Detroit Police Department. We are proud to recognize her as a 2022 Women in Blue Officer of the Year nominee. We also want to congratulate her because after 23 years with DPD, she is leaving to continue making an impact in a different position elsewhere. Det. Manzella, congratulations on your nomination, thank you for your years of dedicated service and best of luck in your new endeavor.
Women in Blue is on May 25th at MGM Grand Detroit from 8:30 am – 9:30 am with doors opening at 8am. You can purchase a ticket online and there is a special discount code for DPD and DFD first responders. Tickets can also be purchased in the DPSF Office at 1301 Third Street, Suite 547.
