Meet today's Women in Blue Officer of the Year nominee, Detroit Police Department Lieutenant Felicia Jewell.
Lieutenant Felicia Jewell is a 22-year veteran of the Detroit Police Department and is currently assigned to Human Resources where she oversees Police Medical In this role, she reviews investigations into claims or allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, and Disparate Impact and Treatment. She is responsible for providing educational materials for the annual mandatory training and serves as a liaison between the Department and other outside agencies: https://bit.ly/3PqLvmI
Women in Blue is on May 25th at MGM Grand Detroit from 8:30 am – 9:30 am with doors opening at 8 am. You can purchase a ticket online and there is a special discount code for DPD and DFD first responders. Tickets can also be purchased in the DPSF Office at 1301 Third Street, Suite 547.
