Today kicks off #PrideMonth! The City of Detroit Government will be celebrating the 50th anniversary with a news conference and Pride flag raising in Spirit Plaza.
Pride Month is a time to commemorate all the struggles and harm inflicted on the LGBTQ+ community, as well as a time to celebrate the progress and impact that LGBTQ+ people have made.
Come out to Spirit Plaza (where Woodward meets Jefferson) today at 11 a.m. #OneDetroit #TakePart
