Today, we announced "Operation Saniyah."
The goal is to disrupt violent criminal behavior across the city. Enforcement efforts will be focused in the areas that have been impacted by violent crime in recent weeks. Officers will center their attention on the east side on Tuesday and the west side on Wednesday.
Saniyah Pugh, 11, was tragically shot and killed on June 4, 2022, while at her grandmother's home. #OneDetroit
