FORD FIREWORKS SAFETY REMINDER Today, the Ford Fireworks will take place on the Detroit River.
If you plan to attend there will be road and freeway closures, curfew enforcement, and large crowds in the downtown area.
DPD will also have a large police presence to ensure safety for Detroiters and visitors.
