It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob, a 3-year veteran of the Detroit Mounted Police Unit. He was a 19-year-old Percheron horse. With his large stature and mild-mannered nature, he was a perfect addition to the team.
Bob and his partner Cpl. Brian Ross shared many memories, from doing crowd control downtown to meeting families in Mexicantown or visiting local schools.
