CHARGED: Gaylord Joseph Rogers, 66, is charged in connection with the fatal shooting of his girlfriend on Nov. 3 in the 7500 block of East Jefferson Avenue.
It is alleged that a verbal argument between the defendant and the victim escalated, and Defendant Rogers produced and fired a rifle, fatally wounding the victim.
Rogers is charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of discharge in a building causing death, and one count of felony firearm. The charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
