Today we laid to rest one of our own. Sgt. Tarran Foster served the people of Detroit with dedication and compassion for more than 25 years and recently passed after battling an illness. Sgt. Foster had a rewarding career and built lasting relationships through his assignments, which included the Special Response Team (SRT), 11th and 5th precincts, and our Training Center. Sgt. Foster will be deeply missed. Our entire department will continue to keep the Foster family in our prayers. #OneDetroit
