We send our deepest condolences and prayers to the families of deputies Darnell Calhoun and Isaiah Cordero, both of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, killed within weeks of one another.
Deputy Calhoun was killed in the line of duty on Jan. 13, 2023, while responding to a domestic disturbance. Deputy Cordero was killed in the line of duty on Dec. 29, 2022, while conducting a traffic stop. This is a tragic loss for the community and our nation. We mourn with our brothers and sisters in law enforcement.
