Today we remember Police Officer Matthew Bowens, who died in the line of duty alongside his partner Ofc. Jennifer Fettig, on February 16, 2004, after being shot during a traffic stop.
Ofc. Bowens served with the Detroit Police Department for three years. We will never forget his ultimate sacrifice. #OneDetroit
