State of the City Highlights:
Beautification projects are bringing new life to communities across the city!
After a significant rebuild, the Livernois Avenue of Fashion is now an attractive, walkable commercial strip.
What was once inundated with abandoned storefronts, West McNichols is now growing into a thriving commercial district with new businesses opening regularly.
The east side’s Van Dyke and Kercheval area has seen significant improvements and is now a vibrant corridor.
Southwest Detroit has a world-class community space in Riverside Park while investments spark a rebirth for Dexter Avenue and the State Fairgrounds.
Both Detroit’s Riverwalk and Campus Martius have been voted the best by USA Today.
