Road construction has begun on the EAST side of Newburgh Road at the westbound Schoolcraft intersection. Two lanes on westbound Schoolcraft are closed to allow repairs at the intersection. Watch for back-ups and seek alternate routes.
Northbound Newburgh Road is down to one lane crossing westbound Schoolcraft and motorists are directed to the center turn lane. Levan Road is the recommended alternate route for northbound. Please note that semi-trucks are not allowed on Levan.
These repairs are necessary to repair the deteriorated pavement. The construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of August.
