The second annual Dearborn Haunted Trail Halloween event, hosted by the Department of Parks & Recreation, returns Friday, Oct. 27 at Ford Field Park, 22051 Cherry Hill Rd. The popular weekend-long event, which will run through Sunday, Oct. 29, will open at 7 p.m. each day, featuring games, prizes, and food trucks, among other attractions.
Thousands of visitors attended the first Dearborn Haunted Trail when it premiered last fall. This year’s event - which is made possible, in part, through the generous support of Beech-Monroe Auto Repair - will showcase additional activities, including a special Ghostbusters show with nightly performances at 8, 9 and 10 p.m.
Tickets for the Haunted Trail are $5 for Dearborn individual residents, $10 for families residing in Dearborn, and $15 for non-residents. A $1.25 service charge is applied to each ticket, which can be purchased online at DearbornParks.org. Tickets are date and time specific and will not be sold or available on-site.
While the event is not age restricted, the Haunted Trail experience may be too intense for younger children. Patrons who may need to bring a wheelchair, wagon, or stroller are cautioned that it may be more challenging to navigate the Haunted Trail due to the natural landscape of park trails, which is beyond the control of event organizers.
