Household Hazardous Waste Dropoff Ends Sept. 29/brush Pickup Ends Oct. 6

Requests for chipper service for brush and branch disposal will end for the season on Friday, Oct. 6.  Brush and branches may continue to be disposed of on your weekly trash collection day provided it is broken down and placed in garbage cans, paper compost bags or tied into bundles of less than four feet in length and less than fifty pounds. There is a limit of five bundles per week. Separated yard waste collection service in containers or bundles will continue on your regular trash collection day through the week of Dec. 4.

Livonia residents may dispose of wood waste for free at the Wood Waste Disposal Facility on Glendale Avenue east of Farmington Road. For more information, please visit our Wood Waste Disposal Facility webpage.

Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off will end for the season on Friday, Sept. 29. As a reminder, there is a $5 fee for drop-off.
