City of Livonia offices, all branches of Livonia Public Library, the Civic Park Senior Center, Greenmead Historical Park and the 16th District Court will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Dec. 26. The Kirksey Recreation Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and closed on Monday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day). The Rec will be open on Tuesday, Dec. 26 from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
There will be NO TRASH PICKUP on Monday, Dec. 25. Trash pickup will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. Please be sure to put your trash out on the DAY AFTER your regularly scheduled day.
Christmas trees will be collected for composting on your regular trash collection day the week of Jan. 8-12. All decorations must be removed. Please do not leave the tree in a plastic bag. After Jan. 12, tress may be disposed of at the Wood Waste Disposal site.
