In response to many extended power outages in Livonia in 2023, Mayor Brosnan and Livonia officials have been meeting with DTE Energy executives since the summer, sharing frustration and looking for ways to improve service for our residents. DTE has been responsive and cooperative, agreeing to make improvements to Livonia and to better communicate their efforts.

As a result, DTE has prepared a Q&A that outlines precisely how the company has been focusing on Livonia and what steps it will take in 2024 to improve electric service and reliability in our community.

Learn more about what DTE is doing in our community.
