Dearborn to host annual Daddy-Daughter dance, free Les Mills fitness classes at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center on Feb. 3

The City of Dearborn Department of Parks & Recreation will host two popular community events on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave. The much-anticipated annual Daddy-Daughter Dance will kick off at 6 p.m. in the Lincoln Ballroom at The Center. In addition, free introductory fitness classes through the Les Mills innovative exercise programs also take place at The Center throughout the day.

Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance returns to the Lincoln Ballroom

The City of Dearborn will host the annual Daddy-Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lincoln Ballroom at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. Elementary and middle school-aged children and their fathers are welcome to purchase tickets to attend.

The theme of this year’s event is “The Prince’s Royal Ball” and participants are encouraged to dress for the occasion.

The popular event includes music, dancing, pizza, beverages, cotton candy, and a special keepsake for all daughters in attendance.

Free Les Mills Fitness Classes available for trial on Feb. 3

Les Mills certified instructors will offer free introductory classes at The Center, on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department is partnering with Les Mills to offer the company’s unique and innovative exercise courses, beginning with a pair of free, introductory classes.

Les Mills certified instructors will offer a 30-minute Body Pump class at 8:30 a.m., followed by a second session at 10:30 a.m. and Cycle Sprint class at 9:30 a.m. and again at 11:30 a.m.

Participation in each of the four classes is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
