Community Hearings Scheduled for Mar 6th, 2024 on Land Use Proposals

Three cases are set to be heard during the Buildings, Safety Engineering and Environmental Special Land Use Hearings on March 6th, 2024. The hearings will take place virtually, with the meeting ID 895 1710 6887 and dial-in number 1-267-831-0333 for all sessions.

At 9:00 AM, the first case to be addressed is SLU2023-00088 at 2039 E. Seven Mile Rd. The proposed use is to "Establish a Rental Hall in an existing 2,600 square foot building in a B4 (General Business) Zoning District."

Moving on to the second case at 9:30 AM, SLU2023-00239 concerns the development of an Outdoor Recreation Facility at 12324 & 12314 Glenfield St. The proposal is to utilize existing vacant land in an R2 (Two-Family Residential) Zoning District for this purpose.

Finally, at 10:00 AM, the third case, SLU2023-00232, will be discussed regarding the establishment of a Religious Institution at 19309 Greenfield Rd. The plan is to utilize an existing 4,108 square foot building in an R2 (Two-Family Residential) Zoning District for this purpose.
