The City of Livonia Clerk’s Office has announced adjusted hours for election business in the lead-up to the upcoming elections. According to a recent announcement, the office will be open for election purposes only on specific dates.
On Monday, Feb. 26, the Clerk's Office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for voter registration and absentee ballots until 4 p.m. The following day, Tuesday, Feb. 27, the office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for polling and same-day voter registration.
"We will resume all other business on Wednesday, Feb. 28, during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.," stated the announcement.
In addition, the Clerk's Office will be open on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. specifically for election-related matters such as voter registration and absentee ballots.
Early voting is also available at the Livonia Housing Commission South office located at 10800 Farmington Road. The office will be open from Friday, Feb. 23, to Sunday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
