Yard waste collection service in Livonia is set to resume on Monday, March 25, as announced by the City of Livonia on March 18, 2024.

Residents are reminded that yard waste should be handled in a specific manner, as stated by the city: "Yard waste should be disposed of in a maximum of 33-gallon trash cans marked with a yard waste sticker or in paper compost bags." Additionally, it is important to note that "plastic bags, for yard waste disposal, are prohibited."

For those in need of yard waste stickers or with inquiries regarding yard waste collection or other refuse/recycling services, the Department of Public Works can be reached at dps@livonia.gov or (734) 466-2655. The city advises individuals making sticker requests to "indicate the number needed and provide your name and address."

Livonia residents are encouraged to visit the City of Livonia website for more information on yard waste collection services.

As the city prepares to resume yard waste collection services, residents are urged to adhere to the guidelines provided to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
