The City of Detroit has revealed the next phase of road closures in preparation for the upcoming NFL Draft, set to commence on Monday, April 8. According to the announcement, the event is anticipated to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors and customers to downtown businesses.

Organizers have actively engaged with business owners and residents in the affected area for weeks to ensure they are informed about the closures and to address any queries they may have. As part of the preparations, updates regarding road closures will be accessible on various platforms, including the NFL One Pass app, visitdetroit.com, detroitmi.gov, Google Maps, and Waze.

In addition to the road closures, the city has also released transportation updates to aid fans making their way downtown for the NFL Draft. These updates include information on vehicle parking and alternative transportation options such as DDOT, RTA, SMART, Q-Line, People Mover, Rideshare, and other fan transportation modes.

With the ongoing construction of the NFL Draft Theater and visible signs of excitement building downtown, such as NFL team banners and painted electrical transformer boxes featuring Detroit sports legends' jerseys, the city is gearing up for the influx of visitors expected for the event.

As preparations continue for the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit, residents, businesses, and visitors are encouraged to stay informed about the road closures and transportation options to ensure a smooth experience during the highly anticipated event.
