DETROIT -- Head coach Ryan Kelley and the Wayne State University baseball program will host a Prospect Camp on Saturday, October 5. The event will take place at Harwell Field as well as the Doris J. & Donald L. Duchene, Sr. Athletic Facility. Check-in starts at 9:00 AM with the showcase beginning at 9:30 AM and running until 4:30 PM. Pitcher-only check-in times will be communicated prior to the camp. This prospect camp is for high school-age students (2024-2028 graduates) and junior college players.

This camp will present the opportunity to showcase skills and receive instruction directly from the Wayne State University coaching staff and student-athletes. In addition, each camper will receive their showcase metrics. The showcase will include game simulation evaluation along with enhanced showcase curriculum and an extended batting practice. There will also be a campus tour during the day.

The staff working the camp will keep track of all data throughout the event and share it following the session. The afternoon portion of camp will consist of live action where campers can showcase their skills in a competitive setting. All pitchers will throw one inning, and every hitter will get at least two at-bats, with plenty of opportunities to play defense. Other college baseball programs will be invited to attend.

The cost for two-way players is $125, $100 for position players, and $75 for pitchers.

Each camper is asked to bring cleats, baseball pants, hat, all baseball equipment, and a water bottle. A t-shirt and lunch will be provided.

Required Forms

All participants must print and complete these two forms and bring them to camp.
