Wayne State women’s golf team places ninth after first round in Columbus

The Wayne State University women's golf team completed the first round of Ohio Dominican's Champions of Women's Golf Classic on Monday at Champions Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio. The Warriors are currently positioned ninth among the 15 participating teams with a score of 320, which is 40 over par.

- T10. Sabel Imesch (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. / Grosse Pointe South) - 76 (+6)

Portillo is just four strokes behind the leader, while Imesch trails by six strokes. Kuo holds a top-15 spot and is one stroke away from breaking into the top 10 as they head into the second day of the tournament.
