Wayne State University's men's golf team is set to compete in the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational hosted by Findlay. The event will take place at the Findlay Country Club in Ohio, where the Warriors will aim to continue their winning streak of four tournaments this season. The competition involves 54 holes, with 36 scheduled for completion on the first day.

Head coach Mike Horn commented on the significance of this tournament, stating, "This is always an important event in the fall. We will have to step up again with an alternative lineup, this time without Tyler Hurtubise. I know our guys are ready to help fill his spot." He emphasized the need for consistent play against a strong field and noted that it would be their first experience playing in poor weather conditions.

The starting lineup for Wayne State includes Josh DiCarlo from Amherstburg, Ontario; Mat Hawryluk from Chatham, Ontario; Max Leppelmeier from Wauseon, Ohio; Ian Smith from Canton, Michigan; and Andrew Daily from Brighton, Michigan.

The tournament features teams from various universities including Ashland, Cedarville, Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Hillsdale, Malone, Maryville, McKendree, Missouri-St. Louis, Northwood, Palm Beach Atlantic, Saginaw Valley State, Tiffin University (UIndy), Walsh University and multiple teams from Findlay.
