Wayne State vs. Ferris State football game postponed due to lightning

The football game between Wayne State University and Ferris State, which was scheduled for Saturday evening in Detroit, faced an interruption due to weather conditions. The match was stopped at 6:50 p.m. because of lightning in the vicinity.

Despite waiting until after 7:45 p.m., the adverse weather persisted, leading to the postponement of the game. It is now set to resume at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

When play continues, there will be 8:04 left in the second period with Wayne State University holding possession at its own 21-yard line, facing a third-and-six situation.
