The Wayne State University women's golf team has been ranked fourth in the NCAA's Midwest Region and 33rd nationally, according to Spikemark's rankings presented by Clippd. Maisarah Hezri from Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia, is the highest-ranked Warrior individually at No. 13. This ranking comes after her top-three finish through 12 rounds of play with an average of 18.51 points.
Findlay leads the region's top five teams, followed by Indianapolis in second place, Grand Valley State in third, and Missouri-St. Louis in fifth. Other notable Warriors include Inja Fric from Ljubljana, Slovenia, who ranks 16th individually, and Beca Vestman from Madrid, Spain, at 18th.
The Warriors are set to commence their spring schedule for the 2023-24 season on Sunday, March 10 at UMSL's Emerald Coast Collegiate in Destin, Florida.
