The Wayne State University baseball program recently concluded its annual Green & Gold Fall Series at Harwell Field. The series took place on October 25, 28, and November 1, with the Gold team emerging victorious by winning two out of three games. The Green team secured a win in the first game with a score of 3-0, but the Gold team came back to win the next two games, 2-0 and 12-5 respectively. Fieger Law sponsored the event.

Head coach Ryan Kelley commented on the series, stating, "This annual fall classic tradition always delivers competition, team building and the thrill of victory." He expressed gratitude to those who attended: "A special thanks to many families, fans, alumni and guests who filled the stadium seats and standing room only areas at Harwell Field! It was great to have so many spectators from our supportive network join us for fall baseball in Detroit!" Kelley also thanked Fieger Law and others involved in organizing the event.

The rosters for both teams were announced. The Green team included players such as Gavin Nash and Coy Plummer, while the Gold team featured TJ McAllister and Rocco Cardinale among others.

Ceremonial first pitches were thrown by John Skaggs, a WSU baseball alum from 2010; Kim Clexton, an athletics academic advisor; and Grace Paulina, sister of player Reagan Paulina.

Umpires for the series included alumni Karter Fitzpatrick and Brennan Cox as well as staff members Kyle Lefler and Jim Campbell. Volunteers supported various roles such as scoreboard operation by Riley Courter and Jack Schwesing, data analytics by Gabe Goode, public address announcements by Jackson Langford, a sophomore Broadcast/Journalism major, and content specialization by David Thurman.
