The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its 2024 postseason awards, recognizing four student-athletes from Wayne State University's volleyball team. Kayla Giroux was named First Team All-GLIAC for the third consecutive year. Her performance this season included a .404 hitting percentage, leading the GLIAC and ranking 10th nationally. Giroux also set new career highs in several categories including kills, blocks, and points.
Kayla Dulgar earned a Second Team All-GLIAC selection following her freshman Honorable Mention recognition. She ranked third among GLIAC setters in assists with 1,019 and contributed significantly to her team's defense with 252 digs.
Molly Miller also made the Second Team after improving her hitting percentage from .185 to .219 while recording 368 kills. She was instrumental on both offense and defense, achieving seven double-doubles in kills and digs.
Kendyl Andrews received an Honorable Mention as the team's libero. She ranked sixth in the GLIAC for total digs with 371 and averaged 3.64 digs per set.
These recognitions highlight the contributions of these athletes to Wayne State's volleyball program during the season.
