The Wayne State University women's basketball team achieved a 71-63 victory over Edinboro at the WSU Fieldhouse. This win marked Edinboro's first road loss of the season.

In the fourth quarter, Shea Tripp's contributions helped secure a lasting lead for Wayne State. Despite Edinboro's efforts to close in during the final minute, Wayne State held firm and won by eight points.
