Playing their final game before the New Year, Wayne State University's men's basketball team secured a decisive victory over Redeemer University on Saturday. The Warriors ended the match with a score of 106-65 at the WSU Fieldhouse, marking their third consecutive win as they prepare for GLIAC play in 2025.

During this period, they achieved a shooting percentage of 66.7 from the field and made all four free throw attempts. After halftime, Wayne State continued to extend their lead to as much as 47 points at various intervals throughout the second half. Despite Redeemer's efforts to close the gap early in the second half, Wayne State maintained control until securing a final margin of victory by 41 points.

Wayne State's performance was notable for reaching over 100 points for the first time since the 2010-11 season. They shot an overall percentage of 62 from the field and dominated in rebounds and paint scoring against Redeemer.
