The Wayne State University men's swimming and diving team secured second place at the 2025 GLIAC Championships held in Holland, Michigan. This achievement marks the team's highest finish since 2021, with a total score of 707 points.

Senior Julio Osuna was honored as Diver of the Year after his victories in both the three-meter board on Thursday with a score of 527.75 and the one-meter event on Saturday, scoring 499.30. Head coach Sean Peters expressed his pride in the team's performance, stating, "This Warrior team is truly amazing! All year, they have been training hard for this moment, and we delivered in a big way! I am extremely proud and grateful of this Warrior team because they have truly committed themselves to the staples of a successful program — work hard, support your teammates, commit to academic success, get engaged with the department and community, and our senior leadership was instrumental for our success. Go Warriors!"

In the final team standings, Grand Valley State finished first with 809 points. Following Wayne State's second-place finish were Northern Michigan with 579 points and St. Cloud State with 496 points.
