Wayne State's offensive efforts were highlighted by Mason McGuire, who hit a crucial three-run home run in the eighth inning, granting the Warriors the edge needed to claim the win.
Friday’s game opened with Davenport scoring first in the top of the second inning. Wayne State quickly responded, scoring four times in the same inning.
