On Saturday, March 29, former Belleville High School standout Payton Whitehead’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Saturday, March 29, former Belleville High School standout Payton Whitehead’s current college team, the Maine Black Bears, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the NJIT Highlanders.

The game took place at Mahaney Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Highlanders this season.

The Black Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 12 p.m. at Mahaney Diamond against NJIT Highlanders.
