On Friday, April 4, former Belleville High School standout Payton Whitehead’s current college team, the Maine Black Bears, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.

The game took place at Mahaney Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Black Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Mahaney Diamond against UMass Lowell Riverhawks.
