On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Salem High School standout Zacarias Salinas’ current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northeastern Huskies.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Russell C. King Field against Wofford Terriers.
