Wayne State University's women's outdoor track and field team has achieved a significant milestone by having 30 of its members recognized as GLIAC All-Academic honorees in 2025. This accomplishment includes 23 athletes named to the All-Academic Excellence Team, matching the previous school record set last year. Over the past five years, a total of 125 team members have received Academic All-GLIAC recognition.

The criteria for this recognition require that student-athletes be active roster members at the end of the season and not freshmen or first-year transfer students. The grade-point averages are calculated through the winter semester.

Among those honored on the All-Academic Excellence Team, with GPAs ranging from 3.5 to 4.0, are Hanne Bastiaansen from Tessenderlo, Belgium; Nevaeh Branson from Mason, Michigan; Robin Bresolin from LaSalle, Ontario; Richelle Cotter from Mt.
